February Workshop

Two-Session Photo Workshop

Floral Masterpieces

(inspired by the Dutch Masters)

Sundays 3:00 - 4:30  2/10,  2/17

On those cold February days when you're just not up for frozen fingers photographing outdoors, come inside for our special photography project - pictures of beautiful arrangements of flowers, fruits, and maybe even a bug or two, inspired by the gorgeous work of the Dutch Still Life masters.  We will have fun with composing subjects, setting up backgrounds and manipulating lighting.  You will not only learn a lot about all these elements of taking great pictures, you will come home with images you'll be proud to print and put on your wall!

Masonic Temple

Saturday, 1/26  10:00 - 12:00

This may be a new discovery for you, but the Masonic Temple is a fascinating building, both from the outside and inside. The fancy and luxury, the golden mosaics, stained glass windows, sweeping stairways and Egyptian pillars are the ingredients for some unique and gorgeous photography.

Sunday 3:00 - 4:30  February  24

Sunday 3:00 - 4:30  March 24

These are very friendly, relaxed get-togethers at my apartment in Lansdowne. Photographers of all levels are welcome to share pictures, get photography tips, and discuss camera equipment. You can also get ideas for entering photography contests, submitting to photography magazines and having photo shows. Feedback from the group provides encouragement and inspiration to go out and take more pictures. These informal photography critiques offer an excellent opportunity to start identifying themes in your work and to get ideas for new directions. Group size is limited, so if you can come an RSVP is required by email or call (610) 626-7854. Cost is $10.  These Salons often fill-up,

so it's best to get your spot early!

Juan was one of the most dedicated, creative and amazing photographers that we have known.  He took the concept of still-life photography and elevated it to a very high art.  We were privileged to know Juan.  We are grateful he shared his truly beautiful photographs with us, and we miss him.  We know you will be moved and inspired by these pictures.
