Here's what Jim has to say: “I’ve been interested in photography since my high school days. Part of the fun is the gadgetry of the camera and the photo editing process. But my main pleasure comes from capturing the memories of places we have visited and people we have met. My emphasis now is learning how to take a photograph instead of a snapshot.”
Well, Jim, it's clear you know how to take a photograph instead of a snapshot! We are thrilled that Jim is part of our community of photographers. His images show that he is a person who not only loves to travel, but brings a really open, curious and sensitive perspective to the places and people he encounters, which he so successfully conveys through his wonderfully executed photographs.
